My Vision:

It is my heart-felt desire to unite my life-streams of experience, co-creating life-affirming celebrations for others, enabling them to mark the significant milestones in their own lives.

Full-Circle Celebration . . .

is the civil celebrancy web presence of J. Rigzin Tute. I chose the name “Full-Circle” because it signifies how I came to the path of civil celebrancy. It also signifies my vision for a co-creative partnership with my celebrancy clients.

In many ways, I feel that I have come full-circle in my life by taking on the vocation of civil celebrant. Since childhood, I have been a musician, a singer, and a performer. I have always felt at home in the creative world, and also in front of others. Creating inspiring experiences for, and with audiences who share my love for music and theatre has always been an inspiration for me.

My spiritual quest has led me through youth in Catholic and Anglican church music, to a Bachelors degrees in Theology and Singing. I also completed a Masters in Church Music. More recently, I have embraced the Buddhist path and learned a great deal about Tibetan ritual music. I have had the opportunity to lead rituals in this rich tradition as well.

Teaching and  conducting choirs and orchestras have been a great privilege for me, as Professor of Music in the Theatre Schools at George Brown College and Ryerson University. Being in a position to teach others about what I’ve learned through my own study is one of the most fulfilling things that I have done with my life.

I have also received two professional certifications. One in Contemplative End  Of Life Care from the Institute of Traditional Medicine in Toronto. The other is an Embodied Practitioner Certification from the MetaIntegral Institue in California.

As you can see, my experiences performing for audiences, performing rituals in a variety of traditions, teaching, and doing further study have brought me Full-Circle to the exciting path of civil-celebrancy.
